As a Nurse Educator Perioperative Part-Time Day, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of nursing by developing and implementing educational programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with market nursing leadership and staff to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate, and revise educational programming for all levels of nursing personnel and non-nursing personnel as indicated or requested.
- Act as a key resource in the orientation and continuing education of nursing staff at Tenet Healthcare.
- Implement a comprehensive education program for your facility while following and contributing to Tenet educational goals and vision.
- Supports the educational needs for assigned units/clinics including classroom, clinical experiences, and learning technologies.
- Ensures all program/course revisions meet the Department of Nursing and regulatory expectations and standards.
- Adheres to national education practice standards and stays abreast of current research into nursing education practice.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in nursing or related field.
- Five years of clinical nursing experience, with at least two in area of specialization.
- Experience in the teaching and learning process.
- Registered nurse licensed to practice in Commonwealth of MA.
- BLS, ACLS.
- Certification in clinical specialty required.
