Job Summary

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team in the Atlanta, GA area. As a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant, you will provide patient-centered care in the comfort of patients' homes and communities.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat impairments, including lower extremity function, mobility, vestibular skills, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental safety needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with our experienced therapy teams.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, professionals, and co-workers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in neurological rehabilitation.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
  • Current certification in the state of Georgia.
  • Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and practices, as well as OSHA and infection control regulations.
  • Experience in treatment of neurologically related physical disorders is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, writing, and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
