Job SummaryThe Licensed Vocational Nurse will be responsible for supervising detoxification of clients, managing medication, and implementing infection control policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for supervising client activities, maintaining the program schedule, and ensuring accurate and efficient medication room processes.
Responsibilities- Supervise detoxification of clients and manage medication
- Implement infection control policies and procedures
- Supervise client activities and maintain the program schedule
- Ensure accurate and efficient medication room processes
- Ensure physician's orders are legible and transcribed appropriately
- Assess patient status and document pertinent information
- Notify physician of significant changes in patient status
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license as required by the state of Texas
- Psychiatric experience is a plus
