Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in Leeds, AL.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on crushing and screening equipment, including disassembly, overhaul, and assembly of components.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment repairs and maintenance activities.
- Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and functioning within manufacturer specifications.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques.
- Experience with open pit mining operations and aggregate products.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- MSHA training a plus.
- A competitive hourly pay rate of $26-$28.
- A $1500 sign-on bonus (paid upon successful completion of probationary period).
