Salary & Benefits

Our Home Health Physical Therapy Assistants enjoy a competitive salary range of $40-$52 per visit, with part-time and full-time opportunities available.

Job Description

As a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant, you will provide in-home physical therapy services to patients who have lost mobility, strength, and functionality due to illness or injury.

You will work collaboratively as part of a home health team, including an RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, OT, and SLP, focused on the patient's plan of care and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and assess patient movements
  • Document progress and modify the care plan as needed
  • Assist patients with exercises and hands-on therapy to manage pain and increase mobility
  • Educate patients on their plan of care, established goals, and self-care
  • Coach family members on the plan of care, therapy goals, and safely assisting with exercises
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program and active PTA license in Massachusetts
  • Minimum one year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience, preferably in home healthcare
  • CPR certification
  • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
  • Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, dexterity, and compassion
