This individual contributor role will work closely with suppliers to develop their capability to produce Parker products with repeatable and sustainable processes, ensuring zero defects and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field and a minimum of 3-5 years of supplier development experience. They will possess a thorough knowledge of purchasing and negotiating methods, principles, and concepts, as well as the ability to effectively assess and implement continuous improvement principles and techniques.

The Supplier Development Specialist will utilize PMP, Six-Sigma, APQP, and PPAP methods in everyday activities, planning, scheduling, and coordinating efforts of the supplier development engineering staff or acting as an individual researcher or functional expert on projects with significant customers/suppliers and business impact.

Domestic and international travel may be required, up to 15% of the time.
