Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a Primary Care RN Lead in our physician office. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and organizing various clinical activities under the direction of the Site Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care delivery and develop clinical staff work schedules
  • Manage patient flow and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Assist the Site Manager in identifying and implementing improvements to clinical care and outcomes
  • Develop and maintain work schedules, coordinate requests for shift coverage, and ensure compliance with safety measures
  • Research and recommend new equipment and supplies, and ensure timely ordering and restocking
  • Participate in direct patient care delivery as appropriate under RN licensure
  • Assist with making calls for referral authorizations and preauthorizations for testing and ancillary services
  • Perform other tasks necessary to the operation of the practice as assigned by the Site Manager
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program for registered nurses
  • Two years of experience in a physician office
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia
  • Current AHA BLS-HCP certification
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills to utilize electronic patient records and software
  • Strong problem-solving skills
