Senior Associate - Automation Engineer

Peraton is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate - Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our automation team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements for customer engagement systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop automated test scripts in Java for Web Front end and microservice architecture
  • Work with the team to drive test automation techniques
  • Run test validations at various levels including DB, rules, logging, reporting, and UI validation
  • Estimate stories and effort, including the representation of test automation
  • Contribute to a cross-functional teamwork atmosphere within the Agile project lifecycle
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS with 2 years of relevant work experience; or associate's degree 4 years' of experience; or HS diploma and 6 years of work experience
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on automated test coding experience using Java (or development experience with C++ or C#)
  • Previous experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, Behavior Driven Development, Java, and open-source automation tools
  • Experience with REST/SOAP webservices, APIs, and SQL
  • U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Open Source Automated Test Frameworks (e.g. Serenity, Selenium, Cucumber)
  • Experience using Java development tools, front-end development, large scale Federal IT Program, and SAFe Agile delivery framework
  • Active Secret Level Security Clearance preferred

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000.
