Job Description

A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is responsible for providing safe and effective anesthesia care to patients in a variety of surgical settings. In this role, you will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient assessments and take thorough medical histories.
  • Determine the appropriate type of anesthesia for each patient and administer it safely and effectively.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed during surgery.
  • Collaborate with other medical staff to develop pain management plans and oversee patients' recovery from anesthesia.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to educate them about their surgery and recovery process.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
  • Experience working in a rural ambulatory surgery center.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
