Role Overview:

The Donor Engagement Specialist plays a vital role in fostering deeper connections with mid-level donors and supporters, inspiring them to deepen their commitment to the ministry of servanthood among persecuted Christians.

This position seeks to empower donors to expand their understanding of biblical persecution and grow as biblical disciples within their circle of influence.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Establish meaningful interactions with mid-level and other donors through phone calls, mail, and written communication, showcasing the impact of their support.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from donors and potential partners regarding VOM's ministry, offering guidance and support as needed.
  • Pray with those who request prayer and regularly offer to pray for needs when engaging with constituents.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of VOM's mission statement, policies, and procedures on various discussion topics and the biblical view of persecution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Associate's Degree in related field considered) with 5+ years of experience in pastoral care, ministry, customer service, or missions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Excellent listening skills and capacity to discuss sensitive issues objectively, providing guidance and support as needed.
Work Environment:
  • A typical office environment with flexibility in scheduling.
  • Must reside within a 1-hour radius of VOM's headquarters in Bartlesville.
Estimated Salary Range:

$45,000 - $55,000 per year
