Job Overview:

The Financial Director will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of our organization. You will oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while leading the implementation and optimization of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and management of all financial operations, encompassing accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Development and implementation of comprehensive financial strategies to support the company's goals and objectives.
  • Leadership in the implementation, management, and optimization of Global Shop Solutions (GSS) ERP software, ensuring seamless integration with operational and business needs.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to guarantee that ERP systems align with strategic plans and priorities.
  • Monitoring and adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls, guaranteeing the highest standards of compliance.
  • Analytical evaluation of financial data, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, showcasing the company's financial performance and growth.
  • Supporting strategic decision-making through accurate forecasting and budgeting, enabling data-driven decisions.
  • Design and implementation of cost-capture systems, incorporating direct materials, direct labor, and manufacturing overhead costs.
  • Effective management of cash flow and treasury functions, ensuring the company's financial stability and liquidity.
  • Provision of financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Collaboration with senior management to develop and implement strategic business plans, aligning financial and operational objectives.
  • Mentorship and development of the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Financial Director role within an industrial manufacturing or fabrication environment, preferably with expertise in ERP systems.
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems, with a strong preference for Global Shop Solutions (GSS), demonstrating the ability to implement and optimize these systems effectively.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful ERP implementation and optimization, showcasing technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to drive financial results and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and present findings effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant financial regulations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
