Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier and Sales Team Member to join our team at Sweetpea's. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and processing transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and performing other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handle customer payments, and maintain a secure and accurate cash handling system.
  • Sales and Promotions: Participate in sales and promotional activities, suggest products to customers, and maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and services.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry 20+ pounds continuously.
  • Work Experience: Previous work experience in retail and/or customer service.
  • Availability: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability: Reliable means of transportation.
