Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Design and execute extensive cyber security architectures that align with corporate goals and industry benchmarks.
  2. Perform risk evaluations and vulnerability assessments to pinpoint potential security risks.
  3. Establish and uphold cyber security standards, policies, and procedures.
  4. Work alongside development teams to ensure secure coding practices and a secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  5. Implement and oversee security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods.
  6. Conduct security evaluations and penetration tests to uncover vulnerabilities.
  7. Formulate and maintain incident response and disaster recovery strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in cyber security, particularly in architecture and design.
  • Strong grasp of cyber security principles, threat modeling, and risk management.
  • Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are advantageous.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud security and DevOps methodologies.
  • Knowledge of security in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Experience with security orchestration and automation tools.
