The Licensed Outpatient Therapist position at Ellie Mental Health merges the stability and collaborative nature of a community mental health organization with the independence and flexibility characteristic of private practice. Founded in 2015 by Erin Pash, LMFT, and Kyle Keller, LICSW, Ellie Mental Health has expanded from its first clinic in Minneapolis to numerous locations across Minnesota and a growing number of independently operated franchises nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mental health assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation in line with company standards
  • Deliver exceptional client service and collaborate with a dynamic team to advance our mission of addressing community needs
  • Employ innovative interventions to assist clients in achieving their goals
  • Prepare and submit individual session documentation according to company protocols
  • Full-time clinicians are expected to maintain a minimum caseload of 25 client visits weekly
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, and other relevant personnel as necessary
  • Participate in all clinical staff meetings and training sessions

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • A master's degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution, with progress toward licensure
  • Clinical licensure (LMFT/A, LCMHC/A, LCSW/A, etc.) is essential
  • Experience in conducting diagnostic assessments, creating treatment plans, and maintaining clinical documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Capability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Timely completion and submission of service documentation
  • Comfortable working with a diverse clientele
  • Proficient in Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience is a plus)
  • Licensed clinicians should ideally be credentialed with insurance panels
