Job Summary

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and support services as a Medical Assistant in our Float Pool team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced Medical Assistant duties, including coordination of patient flow and management of front desk operations.
  • Assist with developing and implementing process improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure seamless unit operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program.
  • 3+ years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification within 6 months.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical terminology knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Work Environment

This role requires standing, walking, and lifting frequently, with occasional climbing and balancing. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Travel Requirements

This role may require occasional travel, approximately 10% of the time.
