ADAMS & MARTIN GROUP is looking for a dedicated Labor and Employment Legal Secretary to enhance our team.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience providing support to senior legal professionals.
Core Responsibilities:
- Efficiently prioritizing and executing tasks with precision.
- Creating and formatting legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and correspondence.
- Preparing preliminary documents for attorneys in anticipation of discovery, motions, and trial preparations.
- Filing legal documents with both state and federal courts, with a strong understanding of electronic filing processes.
- Demonstrating exceptional proofreading abilities.
- Maintaining and updating files promptly.
- Managing time entries, processing invoices, and conducting conflict checks.
- Overseeing calendars to track litigation dates and other critical deadlines.
- Reviewing vendor invoices and ensuring timely payment requests.
- Assisting attorneys and paralegals in preparation for various legal proceedings.
