Job Title: Busser

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser to join our team at Townhall Video. As a Busser, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room, including tables, chairs, floors, walls, windows, and restrooms.
  • Restock dining room supplies, such as silverware, glassware, and condiments, and maintain adequate supplies in the work stations.
  • Prepare beverages, including coffee and iced tea, as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with host/hostess and servers to maintain service efficiency.
  • Assist servers in serving tables during peak periods.
  • Remove dirty dishes and silverware from guest tables between courses and after guests leave the table.
  • Perform any other restaurant function as needed.
Requirements:
  • Entry-level position.
  • Must possess a friendly, outgoing, courteous, and service-oriented personality.
  • High School degree preferred, but not required. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain stationary for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to bend and stoop on occasion, and be able to escort guests to other parts of the facility as circumstances dictate.
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to five hours in length.
  • Must have the ability to lift trays, soiled dish bins, etc., of up to 40 pounds in weight.
  • Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other associates.
  • Must wear slip-resistant shoes at all times while working.
