Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of potential foster care parents, including home visits and comprehensive assessments to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children.

  • Education and Training: Facilitate training sessions for foster parents, equipping them with the necessary skills to care for medically complex children.
  • Implementation: Oversee the daily operations of the Medical Foster Care program, ensuring that all clinical practices align with established standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate program data to ensure compliance with quality standards and implement improvements as needed.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a valid nursing license and have a minimum of 1-3 years of nursing experience. Experience in foster care or case management is advantageous but not mandatory.
