Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CADD Technician to join our Public Works team in Little Rock, AR. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans, working closely with engineers and other design professionals to ensure precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed drawings and plans for engineering projects using CADD software.
  • Review and revise drawings to meet specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure designs are accurate and feasible.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including material lists, quantity takeoffs, cut/fill reports, and project records.
  • Review and implement applicable design and/or industry standards, federal and state requirements, and safety regulations to ensure design compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Relevant experience in engineering drafting and design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Civil3D.
  • Strong Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-motivator and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Drafting Certificate, Associate, or Bachelor's Degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field is desired.
  • 3 or more years of experience in engineering drafting and design. A focus on municipal infrastructure/Public Works projects is a plus.
  • Experience with GIS software and applications.
