Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Occupational Therapist to join our team in a small and welcoming district. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a manageable caseload of 27 students, providing essential services to support their educational and developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and ensure a cohesive educational experience.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on improving their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and school activities.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
- Caseload: 27 students
- Schedule: 2 days per week (16 hours)
- Type: Part-time
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Georgia
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
