We are currently in search of a Cabinet Cost Analyst. This role involves generating cost estimates for cabinetry and associated components necessary for completing individual units or entire projects, ensuring accurate pricing in accordance with the AIS standard catalog.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify the appropriate cabinetry and supplementary components by analyzing architectural blueprints, confirming dimensions, and entering data into an Excel bidding application.
- Calculate pricing, taking into account factors such as shipping and specialized items.
- Identify potential savings for clients through value engineering techniques.
- Interpret and comprehend plan sets, Requests for Information (RFIs), and Architectural Supplemental Instructions (ASI) to adjust pricing as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Familiarity with natural stone and the building products sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to quickly learn internal software systems.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities; highly motivated and a collaborative team player.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Bilingual candidates (Spanish) are a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to design firms and client sites.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
