This role is designed for those who wish to transition from traditional insurance-based practices to a more innovative care model. As a vital member of the Planstin team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our practice while providing exceptional mental health services through telehealth.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in diagnosing and addressing mental and emotional challenges within the framework of family and marital dynamics. A passion for primary care and preventive health is essential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize psychotherapeutic techniques and family systems theories to deliver effective services to individuals, couples, and families facing mental health issues.
  • Support clients and their families in developing constructive strategies to tackle personal challenges.
  • Create and execute tailored treatment plans that address familial conflicts, harmful behaviors, and other personal concerns.
  • Provide counseling on various issues, including relationship difficulties, separation, parenting, household management, and financial stressors.
  • Offer emotional support and personal care to clients, ensuring their overall well-being.
  • Assess the need for referrals to other professionals in fields such as medicine, psychiatry, or legal assistance.
  • Maintain comprehensive case documentation, including progress notes and treatment evaluations.

Essential Skills:

Therapeutic Knowledge: Understanding of methods for diagnosing and treating mental health disorders and providing career guidance.

Behavioral Psychology: Insight into human behavior, individual differences, and effective treatment of psychological disorders.

Customer Service Expertise: Proficiency in assessing client needs and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Capacity to identify complex issues and devise effective solutions.

Decision-Making Skills: Ability to evaluate options and make informed choices based on potential outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Active Marriage and Family Therapist License in your practicing state(s).
  • Preferred: Licensure in multiple states.
  • Strong listening and comprehension skills.
  • Ability to recognize potential issues before they escalate.
  • Commitment to core values such as integrity, compassion, and patient-centered care.

This position is a contracted 1099 role, allowing for flexibility in practice.
