Adolescent Advocate Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Adolescent Advocate to join our team at Community Care Organization. As an advocate, you will work directly with youth 16-21 aging out of foster care to identify and address their needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of adolescent development and be able to create effective plans to support youth in achieving their goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Identify and assess youth needs, developing individualized plans to support their success.
  • Collaborate with community resources to provide wraparound services and support.
  • Provide on-call support to respond to crisis situations.
  • Work closely with youth, families, and other professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human services or related field (preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience working with adolescents in foster care or similar settings.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Crisis Intervention Training preferred.
Salary and Benefits

Competitive salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
