Position Overview: In the role of Senior Specialist IT Product Security at Abbott, you will work closely with the Cybersecurity Lead and cross-functional teams to ensure the security of web and mobile applications throughout their development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive manual and automated security tests for web and mobile applications
  • Conduct penetration testing, analyze results, and document findings to bolster application security
  • Collaborate with development and quality control teams to establish acceptance criteria and evaluate risks for upcoming features
  • Engage in the development of Threat Models and Data Flow Diagrams to enhance application security
  • Participate in troubleshooting and analysis activities related to applications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, automation, and/or cybersecurity
  • A technical background in a regulated industry, preferably with exposure to healthcare systems
  • Familiarity with software testing scripts/tools, network concepts, penetration testing, and security frameworks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various testing tools, along with experience in cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure
