Restaurant Operations Manager

The Restaurant Operations Manager at IHOP directs the operation of all assigned units within a district by performing the duties outlined below.
Key Responsibilities- Implement Team Member Training - Develop and execute a comprehensive training program for all restaurant hourly employees to improve unit operations and the guest experience.
- Execute Annual Financial and Marketing Plans - Oversee the execution of annual financial, local restaurant marketing, and guest service plans to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Manage Restaurant Operations - Focus on regular contact with guests, food quality, and service standards to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Comply with Regulations - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Recruit, Train, and Retain Employees - Recruit, train, and retain employees as defined by the current SOP and operations plan for the assigned unit.
- Manage Turnover - Develop and implement strategies to minimize employee turnover and maintain a stable workforce.
- Conduct Coaching and Performance Appraisals - Provide ongoing coaching and administer the restaurant compensation plan to ensure employee growth and development.
- Enforce Company Policies - Ensure that all employees understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure Food Quality - Monitor and maintain food quality standards to ensure that all menu items meet specifications, recipes, plating, and garnishes.
- Monitor Ticket Times - Analyze and improve ticket times to meet guest expectations and drive business growth.
- Implement Marketing Promotions - Develop and execute national and local marketing promotions to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Complete Administrative Duties - Perform ongoing administrative duties to support the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the business unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
