Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to work in our Emergency Room department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Room, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patients, and developing and implementing individualized care plans.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the Emergency Room
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff, to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest emergency nursing practices and procedures
- Meet all the essential duties of a Registered Nurse, as outlined in the job description
- Current California Registered Nursing license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certification
- Annual Restraint Certification/Recertification
- Annual JCAHO Review/Competencies
The physical demands of this job are maintained in the Occupational Health Department. Required health documents for all traveler and registry RNs include a physician's statement within 12 months, a drug screen within 30 days prior to assignment start date, proof of TB test skin test within 12 months prior to assignment start date, and other required health documents.
