About the Role

Bonita House is seeking a skilled Medical Program Coordinator to join our team. This is a 40-hour per week position, with in-person office schedule and in-field work.

Estimated Salary: $68,000 - $75,000 per year based on location and experience

Location: Oakland, CA

Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and provide supportive services for adults referred from CalWORKs Welfare-to-Work agency
  • Facilitate weekly/monthly group activities promoting self-sufficiency, recovery wellness, and healthy boundaries
  • Provide psychoeducation on health, well-being, and lifestyle topics, including symptom management and relapse prevention
  • Complete initial bio-psychosocial assessments, annual assessments, and establish collaborative treatment goals
  • Link clients to housing, employment, medical, dental, psychological, parenting, legal, transportation, and money management resources
Requirements
  • Active registration with BBS, Registered MFT or ASW
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team
  • Prioritization skills and effective time management
  • Excellent written communication skills for documentation
  • Interpersonal skills, including emotional intelligence
  • Must be able to meet Immigration Reform Act of 1986 requirements
  • Valid California Motor Vehicle Operator's License and automobile insurance required
