We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Kindred Healthcare. As a critical care nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions, general medical-surgical conditions, and rehabilitation and/or wound care needs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patient care team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Education and Training: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in critical care nursing.
- Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in peer review and performance improvement activities.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of ICU experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) is preferred.
- Certifications: Current ACLS certification is required upon hire for ICU nurses.
