Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to join our team at Quest Global. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of aircraft cargo system parts through inspection and testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections and testing of machined parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Use CMM and/or handheld metrology tools to inspect parts.
  • Evaluate products for acceptance criteria and initiate rejection process where required.
  • Complete delivery documents and maintain systems records for traceability and movement of products.
  • Perform Root Cause Corrective Action in case of an escape to customer.
  • Work in compliance with safety requirements.
  • Work independently and with minimal supervision to complete tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.
  • Previous experience in preparing final inspection documents (CoC, TC Form 1 etc.)
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision to execute the 'Essential Job Functions' required.
  • Ability to interpret Engineering drawings / GD&T specifications desired.
  • Knowledge of Aerospace products and manufacturing processes desired.
  • SAP / MPR /ERP system familiarity preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Experience with auditing (Nadcap, ISO, AS9100, etc.)
  • QMS knowledge (AS9100, ISO9001, etc.)
Work Environment
  • Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
  • Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
  • Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
  • Typical 40 hour weeks plus lunch / core (required) hours / General shift: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
  • Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
