Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to expectant mothers and their families
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies as needed
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient information and progress in electronic medical records
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee or a compact state
- 1 year of experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months
- NRP certification within 6 months
- AWHONN basic, intermediate, and advanced certifications within 1 year
- CPI Training & Certification within 6 months
