Our dedicated team, comprising accountants, property managers, compliance specialists, and field personnel, collaborates to enhance occupancy rates, maintain affordable housing, and ensure high living standards.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician at Fairway Management, you will carry out essential maintenance tasks, including basic carpentry, painting, and minor repairs to equipment and facilities. Your role is crucial in preserving the aesthetic appeal of the property, its buildings, and communal areas.

Key Duties Include:

  • Efficiently complete assigned maintenance work orders.
  • Be available for on-call after-hours maintenance emergencies and other operational needs.
  • Assist neighboring properties with maintenance activities as required.
  • Implement and uphold preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Conduct minor repairs in building structures, electrical systems, painting, and plumbing.
  • Maintain an inventory of repair supplies and submit purchase requests to the property manager as needed.
  • Conduct final inspections for move-ins and move-outs alongside the property manager.
  • Prepare units for new tenants in a timely manner, including cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks and moving furniture when necessary.
  • Procure supplies from local vendors while operating a registered and insured vehicle.
  • Remain vigilant for emergencies, suspicious activities, and report to appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in regional and corporate training sessions as required.
  • Possess necessary maintenance tools.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred prior experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field.
