Daycare Substitute

We are seeking a reliable and caring Daycare Substitute to join our team at Calvary Chapel Of Costa Mesa. As a Daycare Substitute, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being during eating and playground activities.

• Supervise students in designated areas, including the playground, hot lunch lines, and eating areas.
• Patrol student restrooms to control overcrowding and ensure safety.
• Guide students in developing good habits of sportsmanship and citizenship.
• Encourage courtesy among students and ensure safety rules are obeyed.
• Assist students in resolving minor conflicts on the playground and follow school protocols for student discipline and office referrals.
• May assist school PE teachers with implementing PE class activities and supervise students in classrooms on rainy or inclement weather days.
• Assist with accident reports and direct students to the health office as needed.
• Direct school visitors to the office and supervise students as they leave or enter the school grounds.
• Report unauthorized activities and persons on school grounds to the appropriate authority.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
