About the Role:
Vail Resorts, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Park Attendant. As a key member of our terrain park operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and enjoyable experience of our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections of terrain park features to identify and address any safety hazards or maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with park designers and maintenance teams to ensure the construction, maintenance, and repair of all features meet the highest safety standards.
- Develop and implement effective safety awareness programs to educate guests on park etiquette and promote a culture of safety within the terrain parks.
- Provide exceptional guest relations and respond to guest inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with the opening and closing of the park, ensuring all signage is visible and features are tested and assessed for risk and liability.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., recreation, park management, or a related field) preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in a related field, such as park maintenance, ski resort operations, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
