Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Screen Fabricator to join our team at Dover Corporation. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating a wide range of screen assemblies for new equipment, spare parts, and inventory screens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and calculate fractions/decimal conversions with high accuracy.
  • Perform spot welding and rolling of sheet metal with precision.
  • Coordinate work with the welding department for non-spot welded components.
  • Paint and mark screens as required.
  • Operate hand sand blasting equipment when necessary.
  • Manage screen material inventory and screen assemblies inventory.
  • Communicate effectively with the fabrication/welding department and mechanical design department to ensure screens are manufactured to specification.
  • Use computer systems to print job orders, drawings, and other paperwork.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and focus while assembling screens.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent education (additional technical skills a plus).
  • Technical training in reading blueprints.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience reading blueprints.
  • Computer skills, including searching databases, printing, and emailing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in TIG & MIG welding.
  • Spot welding skills.
