Senior Wetland Biologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wetland Biologist to join our Earth & Environment Team in New York State. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting wetland delineations, waters of the U.S. jurisdictional determinations, and other ecological assessments.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct wetland delineations and waters of the U.S. jurisdictional determinations
- Perform wetland and stream functional assessments
- Conduct plant and habitat surveys
- Develop Floristic Quality Assessments (FQA)
- Conduct special status species surveys
- Identify and map invasive species
- Process and analyze data, and prepare summary reports
- Interact with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and clients in a professional manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project work
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related life sciences field
- 5+ years of experience leading wetland projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of the USACE Wetland Delineation Manual and Regional Supplements
- Experience with plant and habitat surveys and/or vegetation characterizations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and ArcGIS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Master's Degree in a related field
- 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER)
- Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training
