Job Title: Financial Operations Advisor

At Northwell Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight of financial operations processes and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to the Financial Operations function.
  • Oversee budget development, financial reporting, and systems management.
  • Drive business processes to improve efficiency and meet organization goals.
  • Oversee revenue policies and procedures, including billing for revenue generation.
  • Design enterprise processes and lead process improvement initiatives within finance.
  • Manage internal systems used for recording revenue and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and provide solutions for areas of high risk in the revenue cycle, documentation, or billing practices.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience and 2+ years of leadership/management experience, required.

Preferred Skills:
  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
  2. 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on digital financial modeling.
  3. Strong proficiency in financial modeling techniques, tools, and software (e.g., Excel, financial modeling software).
  4. Solid understanding of digital cost structures, budgeting processes, and financial metrics (e.g., TCO, ROI, NPV).
  5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
  6. Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  7. Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  8. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision in financial analysis and reporting.
  9. Experience in the technology industry or with digital-related projects is highly desirable.
  10. Professional certifications such as MBA or CPA are a plus.
