Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Amtec Enterprise. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload trucks, trailers, and containers of freight, and accurately count products to ensure all shipments are complete and damage-free.
  • Pick and pack orders with precision, using material handling equipment such as fork trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.
  • Compare quantities, labeling, and addresses with orders to ensure out-going shipments are complete and correct.
  • Maintain equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion, and operate it safely and efficiently.
  • Keep accurate records and reports, and assist in physical inventories and cycle counts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including repacking, repairing, and consolidating damaged goods.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • OSHA Forklift and HAZMAT certification a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and use hands and feet simultaneously for repetitive movements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing priorities.
Working Conditions

The work environment is an industrial warehouse with moderate noise levels. The associate will be required to stand and walk for the majority of the working day, and may be exposed to dust, fumes, or gases.

The associate will be required to use both hands for repetitive actions, and both feet for repetitive movement operating foot controls. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
