As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the technical aspects of our projects, including design, construction, and project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage the technical aspects of projects, including design, construction, and project management.
  • Team Leadership: Assume leadership of project teams and coordinate the design aspects of projects, including the generation of calculations and design drawings.
  • Scope of Work: Assess project requirements, break down projects into tasks, and work with other engineers to determine scope of work, budget, and staffing.
  • Engineering Studies: Prepare engineering studies and schematic design for new systems and analyze the operation of existing systems.
  • Technical Calculations: Check all technical calculations and drawings for accuracy.
  • Scope of Work Writing: Write scope of work for design based on preliminary review and meetings with clients.
  • Field Engineering: May serve as a field engineer during construction.
  • Construction Budgets: Prepare or review construction budgets based on experience and scope of project.
  • Communication: Maintain communications between other engineers and other disciplines to assure schedule and budget accuracy.
  • Project Management: Responsible for man hour budget and schedule.
  • Documentation: Generates all appropriate discipline communication records for proper dissemination of project information.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Registration: Professional Engineering registration, by examination, is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years experience working as a Structural Engineer.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in STAAD Pro, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Word is required.
  • Additional Skills: Knowledge of AutoCAD 2018 or newer version and 3-D drawing is a plus.
  • Industry Experience: Experience with a consulting engineering firm.
  • Engineering Knowledge: Knowledge of engineering design principles and practices as spelled out in the codes and standards.
  • Calculations: Generate calculations for civil/structural projects (Foundations and Steel).
