Job Overview

Position Summary

  • Oversee and manage the daily functions of the warehouse environment.

  • Provide training, mentorship, and constructive feedback to warehouse team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Conduct routine inspections and audits to uphold cleanliness, organization, and compliance with quality benchmarks.
  • Address and resolve any operational challenges or conflicts within the warehouse, fostering positive employee relations.
  • Prepare and analyze operational reports related to productivity, inventory status, and shipping/receiving accuracy, offering insights for enhancement.

Essential Skills

  • Strong leadership capabilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems (ERP, WMS) and relevant software for tracking inventory, shipments, and performance metrics.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping processes, along with inventory control methods.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities to swiftly identify and address operational issues.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Understanding of safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
  • Strong computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Capability to operate warehouse machinery, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, and obtain necessary certifications as required.

Compensation

Pay rate is negotiable.
