Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Cardiology Cath Lab Tech to join our team at MedStat Healthcare Services Company. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures by adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and adjusting exposure to capture the required results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Get to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connections
  • Set up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results
  • Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient's chart
  • Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary
  • Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with medical charting desired
  • Strong attention to detail
Work Environment

This is a 13-week travel contract in the New Brunswick area. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience working in a medical setting, and excellent attention to detail.

Shift and Caseload Information

Shift time: 7a-7:30p, 3x12s or 4x10s (specify in submittal). Daily caseload: 3-6, rotating between 8 rooms. On-call every 2-3 weekends. On-call schedule is Fri: 7p-7a, Sat: 24 hours, 7a-7a; and Sun: 24 hours, 7a-7a.

Equipment and Charting System

Equipment experience required: Sterile procedure and equipment set up, rotablator, IABP, closure devices, balloon inflator, and stents. Charting system: EPIC, Cupid, and Merge.
