The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the labor delivery unit. In collaboration with the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures. This role requires a strong commitment to the organization's vision and mission, as well as a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences and clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities- Coordinates patient care and ensures seamless transitions between departments
- Develops and implements individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes
- Monitors and evaluates nursing care, making adjustments as needed to ensure high-quality patient care
- Provides education and support to patients and families, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
- 1+ years applicable experience Required
- Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
