Geisinger Health System, a nationally recognized leader in innovation and quality care, is seeking a Gastroenterologist to provide exceptional care to patients in Lewistown/State College, PA.
Job DutiesThe region's premier Gastroenterology Group is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our stable team of 8 physicians and 5 APPs. This dedicated high-level and high-volume practice includes interventional endoscopy and hepatology, integrated with the larger health system to alleviate frustrations.
As a Gastroenterologist at Geisinger, you will:
- Provide care for patients across a fully integrated health system with a robust electronic health record (EPIC)
- Enjoy ample opportunity for professional growth, including teaching fellows, residents, and medical students, as well as participation in clinical and endoscopic research as faculty of the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including embedded pharmacists, who assist in management of Hepatitis C and Inflammatory Bowel Disease
- Benefit from the support of skilled specialists in surgical specialties, Intervention Radiology, and Oncology services
