Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
As a CNC Router Operator, your primary duties will include:

  • Programming and operating 5-axis CNC equipment
  • Creating CNC programs tailored for various part designs
  • Choosing suitable cutting tools and optimizing cutting speeds and feed rates
  • Implementing best practices in machining
  • Supporting all stages of the product lifecycle
  • Identifying and executing product and process enhancements
  • Generating technical drawings for production purposes
  • Planning machining processes by analyzing work orders and specifications
  • Evaluating machine programs by entering necessary instructions and settings
  • Processing orders according to customer specifications
  • Ensuring part accuracy through rigorous inspection processes
  • Maintaining quality standards by taking precise measurements and troubleshooting
  • Conducting preventive maintenance and addressing equipment malfunctions
  • Documenting and communicating work shift activities and requirements

Physical Requirements
This role involves:

  • Manual lifting of items up to 50 lbs
  • Standing for extended periods, up to 8 hours

Qualifications
To be successful in this position, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in CNC operations
  • Proficiency in CNC Router operations
  • Experience with CAD software

Compensation
