We are seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics with a minimum of 5 years in professional automotive repair to join our team at Carvana, recognized as the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in the U.S. and one of the four fastest companies to enter the Fortune 500.
As a Lead Automotive Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive repairs and extensive engine work
- Performing advanced vehicle diagnostics
- Troubleshooting complex electrical issues in vehicles
- Installing, repairing, and replacing refrigerant and recovery systems
- Executing diagnostics and repairs on a variety of makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles

The compensation for this position begins at $24 per hour, with potential increases based on experience. Overtime is compensated at time and a half when necessary.

Qualifications:
- Ability to operate vehicle equipment and tools, with the capacity to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license; some roles may require a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic production environment, occasionally facing extreme weather conditions
- Utilization of safety equipment, which may include face shields, goggles, non-slip footwear, gloves, masks, and other protective gear
