About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Atria Senior Living. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean public areas and resident apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios, and windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
  • Laundry Services: Perform all laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing resident laundry and textiles.
  • Utility Room Maintenance: Maintain resident laundry areas, including mopping floors, washing walls, and checking lint traps regularly.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested.
  • Supply Management: Stock the cleaning cart with supplies and maintain a clean and orderly condition of utility and storage rooms.
  • Waste Management: Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area(s).
  • Maintenance Support: Work with maintenance to ensure that the trash and dumpster areas are clean and report any maintenance-related issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Education and Training: Must successfully complete all company-specified training programs.
  • Communication Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
  • Physical Demands: Able to operate cleaning equipment and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Basic Skills: Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
