As a NICU Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care at Stamford Health. This position offers a competitive salary of approximately $125,000 per year. You will work closely with our team to provide direct patient care, assess patient conditions, and develop comprehensive plans of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Offer personalized attention and support to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Coordinate Care Plans: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care strategies, promoting optimal patient outcomes.
  • Ensure Quality Care: Continuously evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed to ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Communicate Effectively: Maintain open and clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain Certification: Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices by completing ongoing education requirements.
Requirements:
  1. Prior experience working in an NICU setting is essential.
  2. A valid nursing license in Connecticut is required.
  3. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is highly desirable.
  4. BLS certification is mandatory.
  5. Compliance with annual continuing education requirements is necessary.
