Job Summary

Angelus Block Co., Inc. is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to join our team in Fontana, CA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our forklifts and material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other heavy equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
  • Conduct planned maintenance and inspections to prevent downtime
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician
  • Previous experience working with forklifts and material handling equipment
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ASE certification or equivalent
  • Experience with hydraulic systems, brake systems, and fuel systems
  • Knowledge of welding, machining, and truck tires
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull objects up to 100 lbs
  • Constant standing, walking, and climbing
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and sitting
