Laundry Specialist

At Healthcare Services Group, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Worker to join our team. As a Laundry Worker, you will be responsible for collecting, sorting, and loading soiled linens into the washer(s) and loading clean linens into the dryer(s), folding clean linens, counting and recording the linen processed each day, making proper deliveries to units, and cleaning and sanitizing the work area, including machines, work tables, and sorting area.

• Collect, sort, and load soiled linens into the washer(s) and load clean linens into the dryer(s)
• Fold clean linens and count and record the linen processed each day
• Make proper deliveries to units and clean and sanitize the work area
• Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions
• Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions while adhering to all safety precautions

• Demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
