Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Millennium Physician Group. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with breathing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pulmonary function tests to assess lung function and diagnose breathing disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer aerosol medications and chest physiotherapy to patients with breathing disorders.
  • Collect and analyze sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases.
  • Monitor and record patients' progress in the electronic medical record system.
  • Teach patients how to use equipment, such as ventilators, and provide education on medication management.
  • Provide excellent patient care and adhere to company standards of behavior.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
  • Credential of either CRT or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • 1-2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy, including ICU/CCU ventilator management.
  • Certified in CPR and current in the State of Florida.
  • 16 CEUs every 2 years.
