We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Law Attorney to join our team at Richards, Watson & Gershon. As a Public Law Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of public agencies, including cities, counties, special districts, and joint powers authorities, on a range of matters including land use, CEQA, housing, police and fire, public works, real estate, water rights, employment, environmental law, elections, contract drafting, and governmental transparency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise City Councils, Planning Commissions, or other governing boards at public meetings

  • Collaborate with colleagues on worthwhile work for the benefit of the public


Requirements:

Compensation:

The annual salary range for this role is $138,500 – $195,000, and represents the Firm's best estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation offered will depend upon a number of factors including, but not limited to: years of experience, experience or specialty with relevant subject matters, and business origination. In addition to salaried compensation, the Firm provides annual discretionary and billable hours bonuses, and a robust offering of health insurance, 401k, professional development, and other benefits.
